About UNICEF
UNICEF is the United Nations Children’s Fund. We are a child rights organisation established in 1946. We reach more children than anyone else.
With your support, we partner with communities, organisations, local and national governments to improve children’s lives in more than 190 countries. Every day, we work together to build a better world for every child.
When an emergency strikes, we are ready to respond – no matter where or when. Our global network helps families and communities to withstand crises, recover, and prepare for the future.
We work for every child
We work with partners and commities to:
- Provide vaccines for 45% of the world’s children, protecting them from preventable diseases.
- Ensure families and children have clean water and access to sanitation and hygiene.
- Support mothers and children with quality nutrition.
- Improve access to quality education around the world.
- Tackle the violence, exploitation and abuse of children and young people.

How do you want
to be remembered?
Even today, you can give the children of tomorrow a chance to live their lives to the fullest. By leaving a gift to UNICEF in your Last Will and Testament or your Life Insurance Policy, you give every Filipino child a fair chance at a better life today and for many years to come.
Leaving a gift in your Will or Life Insurance Policy is not as complicated as you might think, and the impact to future generations is tremendous. Your gift will help support UNICEF's long-term development programs and empower children long into the future.
For over 75 years, UNICEF has been ensuring that more of the world's children are vaccinated, educated, and protected. Working in more than 190 countries around the world, we work in the toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents, and to protect the rights of every child, everywhere. As the world's largest provider of vaccines, we support child health and nutrition, safe water and sanitation, quality education and skill building, HIV prevention and treatment for mothers and babies, and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.
Through the help of voluntary contributions from individuals, governments, and the private sector, we have achieved important results for vulnerable children. Here are some examples of the work we do for children:
- Ended Polio in the Philippines twice
First in 2020 and after the resurgence in 2021.
- Helped reach more than 760 million children with life-saving vaccines
Preventing more than 13 million deaths in the last 20 years.
- In 2022, UNICEF procured $7.383 billion in goods and services for children in 162 countries and areas
This procurement value included the delivery of 3.4 billion vaccines, 2.1 billion water purification tablets, 38.1 million long-lasting insecticidal mosquito nets, 162,000 education kits, and almost 69,000 metric tons of ready-to-use therapeutic food to treat severe wasting in children under 5 years old.
By leaving a Legacy Gift to UNICEF in your last will and testament or life insurance policy, you are helping not just one child, but generations of children to come. To find our more about UNICEF's work, visit our website at https://www.unicef.org/philippines.
